One of the decisions organizations face at the conclusion of an investigation into violations of a code of conduct is the extent of disclosure regarding the nature of the violation when it is determined that disciplinary action is warranted, especially when everyone is aware of the discipline. Two examples from 2018 illustrate the disparity in approaches to this issue.
