I recently read that the Securities and Exchange Commission has received significantly more tips from whistleblowers since the COVID-19 pandemic began in early 2020.[1] The conclusion drawn by many is that workers feel more comfortable reporting allegations of wrongdoing (at least reporting to the government) when they work from home, not surrounded by their coworkers.
