World Trade Organization hosts talks on cross-border e-commerce

Seventy-five nations will discuss ways to regulate the mostly unregulated international e-commerce industry in talks that began in March. The industry is worth an estimated USD 3.5 trillion with almost USD 1 trillion involving cross-border transactions. But very few international trade agreements have explicit rules or standards for cross-border e-commerce.
