In the corporate world, we know a lot about silos: groups within companies that should work together, sharing resources and experiences, but instead keep separate from other groups. We know that silos slow down progress and make life difficult.

In compliance and ethics, we also have silos, but generally do not even know they are there. I am talking here about all the different compliance risk areas — and the compliance work done in each of them.
