An employee at my organization popped his head into my office last week and asked me if I had seen the news coverage of the allegations of sexual harassment levied against a major Hollywood producer. When I told him I had, he asked a very simple but nearly impossible question: Why didn’t anyone say anything? He immediately followed that with a comment about our sexual harassment training, which we had recently completed. He guessed that since the accused company was relatively small, they didn’t think they needed such training.
