Training evaluations: One size does not fit all

In today’s regulatory environment, it’s standard practice to train employees on compliance obligations and expected behaviors. But it’s no longer enough to design and deploy a training and assume it’s working. It’s important to evaluate whether the training is effective; that is, is the training producing the behaviors you seek? More and more companies are moving away from the goal of education about the “what” of compliance and toward demonstrating the “how.” If you’re interested in evaluations, consider deploying a training evaluation based on the Kirkpatrick model outlined below.
