Telemedicine monitoring

A critical element of any effective compliance program is monitoring. As a service to our members, each month this column focuses on potential monitors for specific business lines.

Today, the delivery of healthcare services is changing how patients receive care. Advances in technology now allow for real-time video telemedicine to treat patients located in remote places—a way to receive convenient medical care. Rather than sit in a crowded waiting room full of sick people, today’s patient prefers to dial up visits to their doctor.
