Do the minutes of your board, or committee assigned with compliance oversight, look anything like this? If so, it’s time to rethink how your organization is documenting its oversight.

In the May issue, I wrote about finding the right balance of board oversight.[1] At the time, I wasn’t planning for that to be a two-part column, but after thinking about it and talking with some people, I realized that I should follow up with some comments about proper documentation of that oversight.
