31 U.S. Code § 311. Office of Intelligence and Analysis

(a)Establishment.—There is established within the Department of the Treasury, the Office of Intelligence and Analysis (in this section referred to as the “Office”), which shall—
(1)
be within the Office of Terrorism and Financial Intelligence;
(2)
be responsible for the receipt, analysis, collation, and dissemination of foreign intelligence and foreign counterintelligence information (within the meaning of section 3 of the National Security Act of 1947 (50 U.S.C. 401a)) [1] related to the operation and responsibilities of the Department of the Treasury; and
